Dear students from 4P to 8P, dear parents, La Course de l'Escalade, the most important foot race in Switzerland, will take place on December 3 and 4, 2022.   A group of parents of students from the APE of the Chambésy schools offers you 8 training sessions, from Friday, September 30  until Friday, November 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Training will take place in all weathers. Students will be supervised by parents of students. Workouts will include   20 minute warm-up, 20 minute running course, 10 minute stretch. During each training, information on a balanced diet will be given using the "E"scalade health passport. After training, the children will be under the responsibility of their parents. For those enrolled in the school canteen, the APE will accompany them there. Training will be offered by the APE and volunteer sports parents, tea will be offered by the town hall and a fruit or vegetable will be offered during each training session by the Union. Terms and conditions

  • Meeting place and time:  For 5P-8Ps, in the courtyard of Valérie's school and   for 4Ps, courtyard of La Fontaine school (children will be accompanied to  Valérie's school by an adult from the APE committee).
  • Training schedule:Training will take place in all weathers. Students will be supervised by parents of students. Workouts will include 20 minute warm up, 20 minute run, 10 minute stretch. During each practice, information on a balanced diet will be presented to the children using the passport.
  • Practical information and points to remember: Attire: Students must come in sportswear with sneakers to run outside (compulsory/risk of accident).In case of bad weather, rain/snow jacket, gloves and hat, spare pair of trainers.

  • Assurance :In the event of an accident, the school insurance will bear all the costs.
  • Parent participation in training:Parents are welcome at training to allow better supervision and encourage children. We need your presence even if you don't want to run, there are several positions to fill. The APE will thank the volunteers who have participated at least 4 times in training with a friendly meal in the communal hall with their family.
